King Systems now offers paramedics, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and potentially first responders airway devices to successfully ventilate patients when time is most critical.
The KING LT-D and KING LTS-D vastly appeal to the EMS market because they consistently achieve a ventilatory seal of 30 cm H2O or higher, are easy to insert, and result in minimal airway trauma.
The KING LT-D and KING LTS-D are designed for positive pressure ventilation as well as spontaneously breathing patients, thereby allowing maximum versatility as airway management tools. The KING LT-D is available in pediatric sizes and the KING LTS-D offers gastric access by the ability to pass an 18 French suction catheter through a second channel, the gastric access lumen, that leads to the stomach. The KING LT-D and KING LTS-D EMS kits are exclusively distributed by BoundTree Medical.
Also available for EMS is the AIRTRAQ, the industry's first disposable optical laryngoscope. Distributed by King Systems, the AIRTRAQ is a new visual guiding system that provides a magnified angular view of the larynx and adjacent structures during 100% of intubations.
Ready to use, the AIRTRAQ has a built-in anti-fog system and a light source. Available in Small and Regular sizes, the AIRTRAQ accommodates standard endotracheal tubes and allows intubation in any position.
