Nearly a year ago, the KING LT-D was determined to have several distinct advantages as a rescue airway device and had been placed on some anesthesia carts within the hospital. The KING LT-D, during this time, was largely responsible for good outcomes in two cases. Because of these events, the hospital’s anesthesia department recommended that the KING LT-D be placed on all “code carts” within the hospital and the KING LT-D to be included in advanced airway management training for non-anesthesia nursing and medical staff.

“The pediatric circuit, the PedF2, has worked just well. The scented masks are an added bonus. Kids accept the bubble gum scented mask we now use much better than the unscented version.”

T.R. W., MD, Chief of Anesthesia - Middletown, OH
The hospital and ambulatory surgery center find the colored bags and pre-scented masks as fun “toys” they present to children prior to entering the O.R. Their young patients often ask to take the products home after surgery. “Small touches like these can be more helpful than you would imagine when escorting a toddler to his/her first anesthetic!”

The facility states that the PedF2 performs very proficiently and is easy to set up. They also found the circuit to enhance patient care. “The quality of the product is readily apparent. The heat and moisture conservation properties of the circuit were evident, especially in cases lasting over 1.5 hours in length.” |

King Systems, specifically Karen, remedied the center’s quality issues, which included leak test failures, pinholes, and tubing disconnects. “King Systems stands alone in manufacturing, quality, and customer service.”

Heat and humidity is unmatched by the F circuits.

B.M., CRNA - Hinsdale, IL
Particularly advantageous regarding King Systems' coaxial circuits is the HEPA level equivalent coaxial filtration, effective conservation of heat and humidity, ease of management of the hoses and quick single connection, and elimination of three aftermarket items.

L.A.S., Chief CRNA - Brooklyn, NY
Exclusively implemented the F2 two years ago and finds the product and service excellent. “Our experiences as a King Systems' customer have been, to date, extremely positive in both account representation and the performance of products manufactured by King Systems.”

L..V.W., CRNA, MSN - San Diego, CA
The staff found the F2 to perform favorably over a two-limb circuit, the advantages included preservation of airway heat and moisture and cost savings. Combining a new anesthesia machine with F2 virtually eliminated hypothermia as a concern.

C.P., Coordinating Manager, Perioperative Services - Brooklyn, NJ
The F2 offers superior quality and outstanding value that helps to lower cost, increase standardization, and maximize performance with recognized value to the views of both the clinician and the management staff.

J.W.L., MD, Assistant Professor - Maywood, IL
Economically, the center has benefited from the elimination of three aftermarket items due to the switch of the F2. Also, the co-axial design is much easier and less confusing to work with clinically, especially in pediatric cases.

W.P.B., MD, Chair, Departments of Anesthesia & Surgery - Cincinnati, OH
“I highly endorse the F2 Universal Circuit; cost, ease of use, humidifying/warming of inhaled gases, transportability, all make it a great choice for our department.”
M.R., MD -Chicago, IL
As a longtime user of the F2, their anesthesia department has had outstanding results with this product. They use the F2 for economic reasons, but they all see many clinical advantages such as: effective conservation of heat & humidity, ease of line and hose management, and an effective product.
P.H., CRNA, MSN, Staff Anesthetist Equipment Manager - Cincinnati, OH
The facility enjoys the compactness and ease of the F2 circuit. The staff has found that their patients’ respirations are heated and humidified after the third ventilation; thus avoiding the use of a blanket warmer on many procedures not involving intra-abdominal surgery.

M.B.W, MD, Medical Director - Indianapolis, IN
The center especially likes the F2 and PedF2’s ease of use, humidification/heat conservation, and filtration. They also find the quality of our products to be outstanding, which includes our adult and pediatric masks.

D.H.T., MD, Director of Perioperative Services - Anderson, IN
The facility commends the coaxial design for its truly effective conservation of heat and humidity. They have had a significant decrease in hypothermia and shivering in PACU and much less need for active heating, which has allowed for shorter lengths of stay in PACU and “irrefutable” cost savings. Also, they have experienced improved patient care.

T.R.W., MD, Chief of Anesthesia -Middletown, OH
Among the first to use the F2 in his hospital, the clinician finds the circuit “a breeze to use and it eliminates tangled hoses”. When transporting to the PACU or ICU, the F2 is a time and cost saver. They also find the circuit competitively priced and eliminates the need for adding an HME filter. The hospital also sees heat and moisture conservation with the F2. They find the PedF2 to be similarly advantageous.
